Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and debug BIOS for internal/external systems and platforms in pre-emulation and post-silicon environments
•Lead BIOS and pre-OS driver development including design, documentation, unit testing and debug
•Apply data-minded approach to target optimization efforts and stay informed of software/hardware trends
•Design and develop groundbreaking AMD technologies and participate in ASIC/hardware bring-ups
•Develop technical relationships with peers and partners

Key Requirements

•13+ years of experience in the x86 BIOS/UEFI/coreboot development
•Expert in C language; knowledge of x86 assembly
•Experience with pre-silicon BIOS development in a simulation/emulation environment
•Familiar with BIOS code bases (AMI, Insyde, coreboot or Phoenix BIOS) and FSP development
•Knowledge of RAS, ACPI, USB, NVMe, SATA, PCIe, and other PC industry standards
