Job Summary

As a Lakebase Sales Specialist, you will drive adoption and revenue for Databricks Lakebase, a fully managed Postgres offering for intelligent applications. You’ll partner with regional Account Executives to engage platform, data, and IT teams, articulate business outcomes, run multi-threaded sales cycles, and orchestrate POCs and proof points to win strategic lakehouse customers.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive Lakebase revenue by identifying, qualifying, and activating Lakebase usage within defined territories in collaboration with regional Account Executives.
•Lead outcomes-based discussions for key Lakebase personas including platform teams, developers, data teams, and central IT to accelerate adoption and governance improvements.
•Sell the value of fully-managed Postgres for intelligent applications, positioning Lakebase as the best choice for operational workloads powering real-time AI experiences.
•Run complex, multi-threaded sales cycles from discovery to close, navigating executive, technical, and business stakeholders.
•Orchestrate POV/POC engagements to validate Lakebase benefits for OLTP workloads and AI/ML-driven apps, with solution architects and specialists.

Key Requirements

•Top candidates will have proven enterprise SaaS sales experience with a track record of exceeding quota in complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
•Ability to manage and navigate long, multi-threaded sales cycles from discovery through negotiation and close with technical and business stakeholders.
•Experience leading or coordinating proof-of-value (POV/POC) engagements and leveraging assets to demonstrate Lakebase value.
•Strong communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills with the ability to present to both technical and business audiences.
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
