Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect, audit and monitor asset inventory collection and updating for a roads network.
  • •Inspect, audit, and monitor to assess the effectiveness and contractual compliance of Suppliers in respect of inspection regimes set out in Employer’s contracts.
  • •Issue notices based on site inspections and observations in accordance with Supplier contracts
  • •Verify that Suppliers records are true and accurate and confirm that works have been carried out in accordance with Specifications and other contract documentation
  • •Verify that quantities and values claimed by Suppliers are a true record and contribute to reports required by the Employer

Key Requirements

  • •Technician with an HNC/HND in civil engineering or an equivalent degree, or comprehensive relevant experience.
  • •Experience inspecting, monitoring and reporting on supplier compliance with contracts, specifications and good practice relevant to roads and structures.
  • •Demonstrable knowledge of maintenance and construction works associated with roads networks.
  • •Ability to verify records, quantities and values claimed by suppliers and ensure works comply with contract documentation.
  • •Strong reporting skills and ability to contribute to reports required by the Employer.
