Key Responsibilities

  • •Integrate with the Cloud and Platform team and contribute to the development of the internal platform with cross-Meli impact.
  • •Design and implement solutions for high-volume, resilient workloads with a focus on scalability, productivity, and uptime.
  • •Develop, maintain, and improve high-complexity Fury services (e.g., BigQueue, KVS, OS, DS, Streams) as foundational services across the ecosystem.
  • •Help create new services from team needs and technological evolutions, including backlog/roadmap definition and prioritization.
  • •Listen to development teams (tickets, research, talks) to improve developer experience through services with strong usability and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Develop backend solutions using technologies such as Java, Go, NodeJS, Rust, REST APIs, and Git.
  • •Experience building and operating cloud services.
  • •Knowledge of concurrent programming and high-throughput systems.
  • •Be available to perform deployment, maintenance, or support tasks at night (critical implementations 03:00–05:00).
  • •Contribute to the creation and prioritization of the team backlog and roadmap for new services and technology evolutions.
