Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform basic work using prescribed procedures.
  • •Respond to customer service requests, including operator-qualified connections and disconnections, and inform customers of needed repairs.
  • •Install, program, and operate Wireless Meter Reading (WMR) equipment; read meters and record usage for billing.
  • •Support natural gas and other emergency responsiveness, including possible standby duties, shifts, weekends, holidays, and emergency callouts.
  • •Maintain accurate records and reports to comply with company and regulatory requirements; ensure safe operation and inspection of assigned vehicles and equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED-level general educational knowledge.
  • •Valid driver’s license in accordance with company standards.
  • •Complete assigned classes, Operator Qualifications (OQ), and OJT specific to the Service Learning Path; maintain required OQs and classroom training/certifications.
  • •Ability to use the company internet/intranet for data entry, reference, and retrieval.
  • •Ability to communicate with internal/external customers to obtain and provide basic factual information.
