Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the end-to-end strategy, architecture, and roadmap for the Payments Platform, including processing, routing, settlement, reconciliation, and partner integrations.
  • •Lead and grow engineering teams by managing, coaching, and developing Engineering Managers and senior technical talent across multiple squads.
  • •Provide architectural direction for high-volume, mission-critical payment systems, setting standards for reliability, observability, security, scalability, and developer productivity.
  • •Set clear OKRs, manage execution across concurrent initiatives, and ensure high-quality outcomes while balancing delivery with long-term platform investment and operational health.
  • •Collaborate with Product, Commercial, Risk, Compliance, and regional engineering leaders to align platform capabilities with growth, customer experience, and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in engineering leadership roles.
  • •Proven people management experience, including managing Engineering Managers or Engineering Leads and scaling high-performing teams.
  • •Strong product thinking and ability to partner with Product Management on roadmaps, prioritization, and delivery of business outcomes.
  • •Deep technical fluency in software architecture and system design for large-scale distributed systems.
  • •Experience in fintech, financial services, payments, or similarly regulated industries where correctness and data integrity are critical.
