Key Responsibilities

•Build and execute an events roadmap tailored to Austin founder audiences, managing budgets and tracking success metrics
•Foster relationships with VCs, startup founders, and ecosystem builders to generate qualified customer leads
•Lead end-to-end event planning and execution, including establishing Rho’s presence with at least one major anchor event
•Develop strategic partnerships with VC firms, accelerators, and community organizations to expand Rho’s reach
•Represent Rho as a brand ambassador in the Austin startup ecosystem and strengthen community engagement for Rho customers

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 160,000

Key Requirements

•5-7 years building and scaling engaged professional communities, with year-over-year growth in membership and engagement metrics
•Strong existing network across the Austin and broader Texas startup ecosystem (founders, operators, VCs) to leverage for partnerships
•Hands-on “boots on the ground” ability to become established quickly in the market and turn connections into community
•Deep understanding of startup ecosystem dynamics and founder/operator needs across stages to create targeted programming
•Data-driven community building with experience setting and tracking KPIs and running experiments
