Key Responsibilities

  • •Align character designs with the style and sensibility of the show.
  • •Explore and create character design options that fit the story/world and translate references into personality, mood, and tone.
  • •Partner with technical leads to refine and troubleshoot character models for fidelity, proportion, and emotional range consistency across shots.
  • •Develop character expressions, turnarounds, and production assets while presenting work clearly and organized.
  • •Work flexibly to address notes, adhere to the production schedule, and provide proactive feedback on emerging pipeline tools and workflow scalability.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of character design experience on series, feature films, shorts, or development/production, or a portfolio demonstrating production-ready character design.
  • •Strong draftsmanship with working knowledge of anatomy and/or volumetric drawing.
  • •Advanced working knowledge of digital drawing tools.
  • •Broad knowledge of artistic styles and the latest technology; knowledge of AI tools (including Cursor and agents) is a plus.
  • •Experience working in an iterative, agile creative environment with rapid prototyping, feedback loops, and strong communication skills.
