Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop electrical systems and software for surface drilling and mining equipment.
  • •Maintain and upgrade existing electrical systems to support continuous product improvement.
  • •Create specialized designs for unique customer requirements, including engineering calculations.
  • •Prepare Bills of Material (BOM) and produce engineering documentation aligned with company policies and international standards, including ISO 13849 functional safety.
  • •Provide technical assistance and field support for manufacturing and service units, and develop testing procedures to validate product performance and safety.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Electrical Engineering and Automation or a closely related field.
  • •3+ years of experience in electrical design within heavy construction machinery, ideally mining or drilling machinery.
  • •Strong knowledge of electrical system and vehicle control design, including fieldbus technologies such as CAN and Ethernet.
  • •Hands-on experience with vehicle application controllers and programming PLCs per IEC-61131 (CodeSYS 3.5 is an advantage).
  • •Proficiency with engineering design tools such as AutoCAD and Creo for 2D/3D drafting, including wire harness design.
