Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop the platform’s cybersecurity architecture, requirements, and protection strategy for avionics, mission systems, aircraft networks, communications, embedded software, and ground-support systems.
  • •Perform threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, attack-surface analysis, and cyber risk assessments to guide security decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, systems engineering, or a related field.
  • •Typically 7+ years of relevant cybersecurity or systems security experience.
  • •Experience with aircraft/aerospace/defense or other mission-critical embedded systems, including avionics/mission systems/platform networks and data links.
  • •Hands-on experience with threat modeling, secure system architecture, vulnerability analysis, and security testing.
  • •Familiarity with DoD RMF and NIST security guidance (including NIST SP 800-53/800-160) and relevant cryptography/key management; must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearance.
