Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the technical direction, architecture, and engineering roadmap for a financial-planning platform in partnership with product, business, and architecture teams.
  • •Lead hands-on design, development, code review, debugging, and resolution of complex production issues.
  • •Design and deliver scalable, secure microservices and AI capabilities, including APIs, event-driven integration, AI agents, tool use, retrieval, and orchestration.
  • •Apply AI and agentic workflows across requirements, development, testing, documentation, and release processes to improve speed, quality, automation, and cost efficiency.
  • •Establish engineering and AI standards (automated testing, CI/CD, evaluation, guardrails, observability, security, and responsible AI) and coach engineers to build reusable patterns and guidelines.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep hands-on expertise in Java or Python for production-grade software, including modern Java/Spring Boot or enterprise/AI application development in Python.
  • •Proven technical leadership experience setting technical direction, leading complex delivery, and developing engineers in a global team environment.
  • •Practical experience with generative AI or agentic systems, including LLM integration, RAG, tool use, orchestration, evaluation, and guardrails (LangChain preferred).
  • •Experience applying AI-enabled development practices to improve engineering productivity, quality, or automation.
  • •Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, PostgreSQL, automated testing, and CI/CD.
