Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage environmental inputs to EIA screening and scoping reports, environmental assessments/Environmental Statements, and supporting documents, including technical review of specialist chapters.
  • •Work across project life stages from early strategy and site identification through feasibility, optioneering/option selection, outline and detailed design, discharging conditions, construction, and operation/maintenance.
  • •Use project management skills to manage resources and budgets (with support as applicable).
  • •Identify environmental constraints and develop impact avoidance and mitigation solutions, improving environmental outcomes within integrated design teams.
  • •Manage client relationships and internal supply teams, and identify and lead business development opportunities and associated fee and technical proposal development.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrate interest and experience managing and coordinating multidisciplinary environmental inputs to infrastructure development projects.
  • •Strong knowledge of EIA, environmental assessment methods, planning legislation, and relevant consenting and licensing regimes (experience with DCO and/or TWAO is a bonus).
  • •Deliver consultancy services with strong project management skills, including programming, resourcing, and budget management.
  • •Confidently engage a wide range of stakeholders with excellent verbal communication, report writing, and technical review skills.
  • •Hold a degree in a relevant environmental discipline, preferably at Masters level, with appropriate professional membership (Chartered Environmentalist status and mentoring/line management are advantageous).
