Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain college laboratories and workshops for faculty and students by installing, demonstrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment and facilities.
  • •Set up labs in preparation for experiments and provide hands-on support during laboratory sessions.
  • •Maintain preventative maintenance schedules, equipment manuals, and maintenance logs for equipment and parts.
  • •Support lab operations by tracking borrowed equipment/tools and controlling consumable materials and inventory.
  • •Provide teaching assistance and help develop and maintain teaching materials, and support student projects as required.

Key Requirements

  • •A Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a relevant discipline is required.
  • •A Master's Degree in a relevant discipline is desirable.
  • •At least 3 years of progressive hands-on experience in hardware and software support is preferred.
  • •Practical experience with PC and OS support troubleshooting and implementation is expected.
  • •Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with people at all levels, is required.
