Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical support and coordination to implement GER- and GBV-related interventions in Ukraine with regional and UN partners, national counterparts, civil society, and academia.
  • •Update and adapt GER- and GBV-relevant guidelines, materials, and tools for national context and support integration into health policies and programmes.
  • •Develop a country workplan for GER and GBV mainstreaming and support programme teams in integrating gender-responsive and GBV-sensitive approaches.
  • •Conduct analysis using sex- and age-disaggregated data, perform gender analysis and GBV risk assessments, and ensure documentation and dissemination of good practices.
  • •Support integration of GBV prevention and response into essential health services and develop training structures; coordinate missions, produce progress reports, and support follow-up on recommendations.

Key Requirements

  • •First-level university degree in communication, social policy, healthcare, health policy, public management, economics, demography, public health, or a related field.
  • •At least 2 years of experience in health and/or social sectors, including public sector experience, with proven ability to write reports, review policies, and analyze policy documents.
  • •Demonstrated general knowledge of gender equality, gender-based violence prevention and response, human rights, and health equity concepts and approaches.
  • •Ability to coordinate and collaborate with diverse national and international stakeholders, and strong oral and written communication skills.
  • •Expert knowledge of English and expert knowledge of Ukrainian.
