Job Summary

Join Natera’s R&D operations to lead sample management for clinical diagnostic specimens, overseeing biobanking, cold-chain logistics, and the complete sample lifecycle. You’ll build standardized SOPs, manage Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for integrity and traceability, and ensure compliance with GMP/GLP/ISO and HIPAA/PHI requirements. Lead, train, and performance-manage a team while using data to troubleshoot issues, drive continuous improvements, and support audits and regulatory inspections.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and implement standardized procedures for sample intake, storage, tracking, and distribution.
•Manage compliance with regulatory guidelines (e.g., GMP, GLP, ISO) and company policies, including documentation for audits and inspections.
•Lead, train, and performance-manage the Sample Management team to execute SOPs and safety procedures and maintain staffing coverage.
•Operate and administer LIMS to maintain sample integrity and traceability, and use data to troubleshoot discrepancies and root-cause issues.
•Partner with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and external partners to align sample management practices and pressure-test workflows for continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•BS/BA degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
•8+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree.
•Minimum 3 years of team management experience.
•Experience in a fast-paced, regulated environment with ownership mindset for independent project management.
•Proficiency with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and strong skills in data analysis and wet lab operations.
