Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform general plant labor tasks including housekeeping (hosing down, mopping, sweeping), trash removal, and spill clean-up.
  • •Shovel and clean up spills, keep barrels emptied, and cut plastic/product from screw as needed.
  • •Clean equipment top to bottom and help unstop screw conveyors.
  • •Maintain floor drains cleaned out and ensure covers are in place.
  • •Oversee the rendering process from raw material bin to finished goods storage and perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •Prior experience in a rendering facility or production environment preferred.
  • •Knowledge of mechanical rendering and/or process equipment.

  • •Ability to read and write, climb stairs and silos, and stand for the entire shift.
