Job Summary

Operate ready-mix trucks safely and professionally to deliver concrete to commercial and residential job sites. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, verify mix specifications, and manage loading and unloading activities including chute placement and drum operation. Keep equipment maintained and clean, enter production/trucking activities into an electronic tracking system, and ensure compliance with DOT requirements while meeting schedules and performing other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate ready-mix trucks safely in the plant yard, on public highways/roads, and at job sites to deliver products.
•Perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections and ensure equipment is maintained, clean, and safe.
•Verify mix specifications after loading and at the job site, and align the mixer drum under the disbursement chute.
•Safely drive to and from loading/unloading locations, release concrete into the area to be poured, and place/operate chutes as directed.
•Clean trucks after each delivery, enter trucking/production activities into an electronic tracking system, and ensure DOT compliance.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED preferred.
•One to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos, and write simple correspondence.
•Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
•Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid Medical Card as per DOT standard, and tanker endorsement required.
