Job Summary

Maintain and repair critical feed mill equipment to minimize downtime and ensure reliable operation. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical issues, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and document work using CMMS/CAM. Interpret engineering drawings and schematics, support PM/PdM program improvements, manage spare parts, and maintain strict safety, GMP, and environmental compliance in Laurinburg’s production environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform daily preventive and corrective maintenance on feed mill equipment to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
•Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical equipment issues, following SOPs, maintenance instructions, GMPs, and safety practices.
•Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, repair manuals, and parts catalogs to support troubleshooting and repairs.
•Support and continuously improve Preventive and Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM) programs, ensuring scheduled PMs are completed and documented.
•Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports in the CMMS/CAM system, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental regulations, and ISO 14001.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance Engineering, or a related field.
•Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience in industrial mechanical maintenance, engineering, or food manufacturing.
•Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial maintenance engineering principles.
•Welding and electrical skills, including experience with 3-phase power (480 volts).
•Knowledge of PLC automation systems and the ability to read and apply engineering drawings/blueprints/schematics.
