Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as Volume Lead and/or Lead Writer for technical and management proposal volumes for high-value federal pursuits.
  • •Lead management proposal solutioning by translating capture strategy into executable proposal approaches.
  • •Write assigned proposal sections using interviews and solutioning sessions, tailoring to customer hot buttons and win themes while incorporating reviewer feedback.
  • •Partner with Capture and Solution teams to ensure proposals clearly articulate people, process, and tools, and develop win themes, discriminators, and proof points.
  • •Identify and mitigate proposal risks early, advise leadership on gaps/compliance exposure/staffing impacts, and mentor more junior proposal staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree.
  • •10+ years of experience in federal proposal development, including leadership roles on complex pursuits.
  • •Experience supporting large IDIQs, task-order driven environments, or assisted acquisition models.
  • •Demonstrated success shaping and reviewing large, compliance-driven proposals, including experience as a Volume Lead, Book Boss, or Lead Proposal Writer.
  • •Deep understanding of proposal strategy, evaluation criteria, and strong technical/management writing to diagnose issues and coach teams.
