Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, automate, and operate cloud-native platforms across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and SAP BTP (Kyma, Cloud Foundry).
  • •Design and implement deployment strategies for Kubernetes workloads, including zero-downtime approaches like Blue/Green, Canary, and rolling updates.
  • •Evolve CI/CD and GitOps workflows using tools such as FluxCD and GitHub Actions, and implement infrastructure as code for platform provisioning and configuration.
  • •Define and deliver observability standards (monitoring, logging, tracing) including SLI/SLO definition, error-budget tracking, and toil reduction.
  • •Drive AI-enabled operations and automation for incident triage and runbook execution, strengthen supply-chain security (signing, SBOMs, admission policies), and act as a technical escalation point.

Key Requirements

  • •Many years of experience with a strong Kubernetes focus, including architecture, CNI/CSI, advanced workload management, and operational best practices.
  • •Expert ability to design and lead complex rollout and deployment strategies (e.g., Canary, Blue/Green) and set deployment standards.
  • •Experience with CI/CD and GitOps workflows, including FluxCD and/or ArgoCD, with strong pipeline design for reliability and observability.
  • •Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Crossplane, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
  • •Hands-on scripting/programming skills for automation and system integration (Python, Go, or Bash), plus knowledge of observability tooling and supply-chain security practices.
