Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage ESDC services throughout construction, including tunnelling, shafts, underground structures, marine works, environmental, and related civil infrastructure.
  • •Coordinate engineering support to fulfill professional and contractual obligations during construction.
  • •Manage client expectations and alignment with project objectives for construction-phase engineering support.
  • •Oversee responses to site queries, NCRs, site instructions, construction submittals, and other technical queries; review engineering effort, progress, and invoices.
  • •Coordinate with design teams, specialty subconsultants, contractors, and document control to resolve issues, manage design changes, and support project close-out and handover activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • •Experience supporting engineering or contract administration activities during construction on complex infrastructure/building projects.
  • •Ability to manage processing of site queries (SQs), NCRs, construction submittals, and other construction-phase technical documentation.
  • •Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and coordinating between design and construction teams.
  • •Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration in Ontario.
