Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary field contact for mechanical and piping trade contractors, coordinating daily work packages on the cleanroom floor.
  • •Oversee installation and routing of UPW, chemical delivery, industrial wastewater, and bulk/specialty gas lines from valve boxes to tool chassis.
  • •Supervise layout, connection, and testing of general, acid, ammonia, and solvent exhaust lines to sub-fab collection headers.
  • •Use 3D models to resolve routing conflicts among piping runs, exhaust ducts, and nearby electrical/structural systems.
  • •Coordinate LOTO, line flushing, initial chemical/gas introduction, and mechanical punch list closure to achieve final system acceptance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • •4+ years of project management or field engineering experience in large-scale industrial piping/mechanical or high-purity utility construction.
  • •Minimum 2 years executing construction or tool install activities within an active semiconductor cleanroom environment.
  • •OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification is required; Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or initial CAPM/PMP is a plus.
  • •Solid knowledge of high-purity welding, pipe sloping, duct connection methods, and contamination-prevention cleanroom protocols (Class 10 to Class 1000).
