Job Summary

Lead automation testing initiatives by defining the test automation strategy and managing a team of Automation Engineers and SDETs. Build and maintain scalable Playwright automation frameworks and drive UI, API, integration, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing. Partner with Product, Development, DevOps, and Business teams to deliver quality engineering improvements, while applying CI/CD and AI-driven testing approaches to enhance coverage and defect analysis.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and mentor Automation Engineers and QA teams.
•Define and execute the organization’s test automation strategy and roadmap.
•Design, develop, and maintain scalable Playwright automation frameworks using Page Object Model (POM).
•Drive UI, API, integration, regression, smoke, and end-to-end automation testing including cross-browser coverage.
•Collaborate with Product, Development, DevOps, and Business teams to deliver automation improvements and adopt AI-driven testing approaches.

Key Requirements

•Lead and mentor automation engineers and QA teams, with experience managing test automation execution.
•Strong hands-on automation testing using Playwright automation frameworks and UI automation testing.
•Expertise in API automation testing including Postman, REST API testing, Swagger/OpenAPI, OAuth 2.0, and JWT authentication.
•Experience implementing CI/CD workflows with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and continuous integration/deployment.
•Knowledge of AI-driven testing concepts such as generative AI, GitHub Copilot/Microsoft Copilot, MCP, agentic AI/AVI, RAG, and AI-powered test generation/defect analysis.
