Key Responsibilities

•Safely operate a ready-mix concrete truck to deliver and unload to construction sites as specified, following dispatch instructions.
•Maintain communication with the dispatcher/plant supervisor, review delivery tickets for special instructions, and complete required documentation.
•Comply with OSHA and USDOT/FMCSA safe-operating practices and use supplied PPE as directed.
•Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, report maintenance/repair needs, and keep the truck/drum clean (including rinsing).
•Collect customer money and record transactions on the customer receipt; respond to basic customer questions related to product and concrete instruction.

Key Requirements

•Must possess a valid minimum Class B CDL (or pass training and attain CDL licensure).
•High school diploma preferred or equivalent; or minimum one year of related experience or training, or equivalent combination.
•Comply with OSHA and USDOT/FMCSA safe-operating practices and use PPE as directed.
•Able to read and interpret safety/operating instructions, and complete routine reports and ticket details.
•Obtain and maintain a valid DOT medical card and a state issued commercial driver license (or be able to acquire during training).
