Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead architecture selection, design, and implementation for GNC sub-systems and control schemes for autonomous robotic platforms.
  • •Integrate technology from third-party vendors, research partners, and internal product teams.
  • •Develop real-time embedded software using an RTOS.
  • •Create test and simulation fixtures using both software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop, and develop modeling/simulation capabilities for validation.
  • •Analyze test data and drive root-cause analyses for vehicle anomalies; support manufacturing and deployment, and mentor engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
  • •At least 6 years developing high-assurance, safety-critical GNC software, including cascading controls, adaptive controls, and transfer functions.
  • •Systems programming skills across algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and optimization.
  • •Extensive experience with MATLAB and Simulink.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
