Job Summary

Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to feed crushing and screening plants, manage aggregate stockpiles, and load customer trucks. Conduct pre- and post-shift equipment inspections, perform routine servicing and minor maintenance, and monitor for mechanical issues or unsafe conditions. Support quarry and aggregate production activities by following production schedules, maintaining clean work areas, complying with safety/regulatory requirements, and collaborating with plant teams to meet production, quality, safety, and environmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate a front-end loader to feed crushers, screens, hoppers, and conveyors with aggregate material.
•Load customer trucks and maintain accurate load quantities.
•Build, maintain, and reclaim aggregate stockpiles safely and efficiently.
•Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections; report maintenance needs and monitor equipment performance.
•Follow production schedules and safety/regulatory requirements, maintain housekeeping, and participate in safety meetings and training.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED (preferred).
•Previous experience operating front-end loaders, haul trucks, or other heavy equipment (preferred).
•Experience in aggregate, quarry, mining, construction, or related industries (preferred).
•Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills (asset).
•Ability to safely operate heavy equipment and perform equipment inspections to identify maintenance concerns.
