Key Requirements

  • •Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and completed at least two years of study.
  • •Recent graduates may apply if they were enrolled in their bachelor’s program in the most previous school term and plan to pursue a Master’s in a similar discipline.
  • •Preferred: previous internship or co-op experience in civil engineering areas such as transit design, roadway design, site design, utility design, stormwater, or multimodal transportation projects.
  • •Preferred: familiarity with transportation topics and an understanding of standards such as AASHTO, NACTO, APTA, state DOT, and/or City Standards.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads.
