Job Summary

Assess and mitigate security and privacy risks across Trend Micro’s evolving AI landscape, spanning LLMs, generative AI, agentic/multi-agent systems, and AI data governance. Key Responsibilities

•Lead AI threat modeling and security/privacy risk assessments across LLMs, generative AI, agentic/multi-agent systems, and AI data governance.
•Partner with legal and compliance teams to align AI applications with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act).
•Analyze and document vulnerabilities in AI ecosystems and pipelines, including training data exposure, inference endpoints, and agent behavior risks.
•Design and recommend security controls and mitigations, translating security requirements into actionable engineering plans.
•Implement AI security services and controls across the AI development lifecycle (AI DLC), including security-by-design for data ingestion, model integration, deployment, monitoring, and compliance auditing.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
•5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years building and deploying AI applications or AI platform engineering in production.
•Proficiency in Python, including experience with LLM APIs, prompt/context engineering, and AI agent or orchestration frameworks.
•Hands-on AI tooling experience, including coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor), agentic runtimes, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
•Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), plus strong understanding of AI security risk concepts and communication skills.
