Job Summary

Inspect molded and printed finished goods to verify conformance with quality specifications using visual, gage-based, and measurement-based (variable/attribute) checks. Record inspection results, observe safety and food safety practices, identify trends and potential non-conformities, and communicate issues across shifts for timely corrective action. You’ll also perform containment actions such as placing materials on hold, scrapping/releasing as needed, and stopping production when quality is unacceptable.

•Perform molding inspections by collecting samples, conducting variable inspections (e.g., size/weight/thickness/opacity), and attribute inspections against standards.
•Perform printing inspections including sign-off after changeovers, variable measurements (e.g., colorimetry/surface pretreatment), and attribute checks (e.g., ink color/density and image accuracy).
•Make production floor rounds to observe and inspect product quality, process capability, safety, food safety, and good manufacturing practices.
•Record inspection results and complete quality documentation, including notifications, rework logs, and end-of-shift reports.
•Identify quality concerns and communicate deviations/control-limit trends for corrective action, including containment actions (hold/release, scrap decisions, and production interruption when needed).
