Job Summary

Help drive a Zero Waste and landfill diversion program for an outdoor amphitheatre, working alongside the Venue Sustainability Manager and venue operations team. Sort recycling, composting, donations, and landfill materials before and after show days, educate fans and crew, and share on-the-ground observations to improve the waste stream and increase material circularity. Maintain a clean sorting area and support compliance with local environmental policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in Zero Waste Coordinator onboarding training.
•Assist with mid- and post-show waste sorting for recycling, composting, donations, and landfill materials.
•Work show days and non-show days to ensure waste is sorted and diverted.
•Relay on-the-ground observations and contribute ideas to improve material circularity.
•Support educational efforts for crew members and fans and maintain a clean sorting area after each event.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 15.4 - 17 hourly

Key Requirements

•Must be 16 years of age.
•Have a foundational understanding of recycling, composting, and material circularity, or a strong willingness to learn.
•Be able to work show days and non-show days, with availability primarily evenings and weekends.
•Be comfortable getting dirty and being around unpleasant odors, and work during all weather conditions.
•Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs while walking, bending, reaching, stooping, and sorting materials.
