Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide special education instruction and support based on each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) in an online environment.
  • •Communicate with parents and related service staff to ensure students receive appropriate special education services and therapies.
  • •Develop compliant IEPs, progress reports, and other state-specific special education documentation.
  • •Facilitate and lead collaborative special education meetings, such as annual IEP meetings.
  • •Monitor student progress with data and work samples, documenting interventions and using results to prescribe remediation and enrichment.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree and an Active State Special Education teaching license.
  • •Texas residency requirements.
