Key Responsibilities

  • •Verify wheels and brakes stock compatibility, readiness, and availability against approved standards and quantities.
  • •Review assigned task cards with the Workshop Supervisor to understand work priorities, documentation, and cautions before starting.
  • •Perform scheduled wheel and brake maintenance, including test/inspection and defect troubleshooting and rectification per approved maintenance data.
  • •Sign off completed maintenance tasks within the scope of own authorisation, ensuring task cards and documents are correctly completed.
  • •Supervise and coordinate maintenance work for continuity and handover, managing safety and human factors during task execution.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold an Aeronautical diploma (or equivalent) and the necessary Aircraft Maintenance License and company approvals for the relevant Airbus A320 component.
  • •Be able to obtain an unrestricted GCAA CAR 66 corresponding Category License.
  • •Demonstrate in-depth maintenance knowledge of wheel and brake systems.
  • •Have extensive workshop experience in a similar role.
  • •Have at least 2 years certifying maintenance on the Airbus A320 family and at least 5 years in a Base Maintenance environment.
