Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customers to understand installation and repair requirements, forecast issues, and gather materials for on-site work.
  • •Serve as direct customer contact on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customer locations.
  • •Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in a commercial environment using HVAC theory, mechanical layouts, and pipe fitting knowledge.
  • •Use cutting-edge technology and hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
  • •Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company and procured assets by recording usage, wear, and condition; stay flexible for overtime/weekends and occasional overnight stays as required.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent and typically 5+ years of HVAC experience; Technical School or formal training preferred.
  • •Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with a handheld computer (smartphone/iPad).
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations (including DUI, hit & run, suspension, reckless/careless driving).
  • •EPA Certification.
  • •Ability to follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
