Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for HVAC customers across a commercial market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems on-site, coordinating with team leaders and customers to forecast needs and synchronize work. Diagnose and repair units using blueprints/engineering specifications, hand tools, and on-site technology. Maintain safety standards, document asset conditions, and be flexible for overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customers to understand installation and repair requirements, forecast issues, and gather materials for on-site work.
•Serve as direct customer contact on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in a commercial environment using HVAC theory, mechanical layouts, and pipe fitting knowledge.
•Use cutting-edge technology and hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company and procured assets by recording usage, wear, and condition; stay flexible for overtime/weekends and occasional overnight stays as required.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent and typically 5+ years of HVAC experience; Technical School or formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with a handheld computer (smartphone/iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations (including DUI, hit & run, suspension, reckless/careless driving).
•EPA Certification.
•Ability to follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
