Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate powered material-handling equipment (forklifts, jack lifts, high lifts, and powered industrial trucks) to move product throughout the facility.
  • •Support safe, high-quality production by performing essential production tasks and assisting coworkers.
  • •Maintain a safe and efficient production line while working assigned shifts and supporting overtime based on production demands.
  • •Follow safety procedures and work requirements, including wearing required PPE and working in noisy, wet/humid, and temperature-varied environments.
  • •Work around sanitation/cleaning chemicals and animal blood/carcass parts while meeting workplace safety and quality standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Be at least 18 years old.
  • •Willing and able to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • •Obtain and maintain required certifications during the qualification period to operate equipment.
  • •Able to perform physically demanding, repetitive production tasks (including lifting up to 60 lbs and lifting up to 30 lbs overhead in some cases).
  • •Work safely in required PPE, including hard hat, hearing/eye protection, and steel-toed safety shoes.
