Job Summary

Support cylinder mill operations by substituting for paper machine crew members, assisting with start-up and felting, removing broke after sheet breaks, and hauling and processing rejected rolls. Help retrieve shipping materials, inspect powered equipment each shift (including daily forklift inspections), and train to operate fork truck and/or Bobcat. Maintain safety procedures and housekeeping while assisting with scrap wire/bale cutting and guillotine processing.

Key Responsibilities

•Follow Safe Standard Procedures for all assigned tasks.
•Assist in the felting of the machine and start up.
•Assist with removing broke after a sheet break or start up.
•Haul rejected rolls to the roll splitter and split rolls if necessary.
•Inspect powered equipment each shift, complete daily forklift inspection sheets, and help maintain housekeeping in the assigned area.

Salary: USD 20.25 hourly
