Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and execute the preventative maintenance program to keep building systems efficient and safe.
  • •Provide hands-on support by carrying out repairs and maintenance across the property.
  • •Supervise service areas (e.g., electrical, mechanical, pest control, cleaning, fire protection, security systems, hydraulics) and manage approved contractor works.
  • •Ensure strict Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) compliance and meet all regulatory requirements.
  • •Manage stock control, purchasing, supplier coordination, quotes, schedules, and Capex requests, and support sustainability and asset planning initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous hands-on Maintenance or Facilities Management experience, ideally in a hotel or similar environment.
  • •Strong knowledge of building systems, compliance requirements, and property maintenance best practices.
  • •Experience with preventative maintenance program implementation and building repairs (painting, plastering, carpentry).
  • •Proven ability to lead, manage, and develop team members.
  • •Experience coordinating contractors and vendors, plus strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, reporting tools).
