Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and manage mechanical design for wastewater and water infrastructure/treatment projects, including pumping stations, pump selection, and related system designs.
  • •Perform headloss calculations and pumping system analysis to support mechanical design decisions.
  • •Engage in all design stages (feasibility through construction design) while complying with national and international design standards.
  • •Collaborate with other discipline teams and communicate effectively with clients and collaborators throughout design and planning.
  • •Contribute to bids and proposals and produce client deliverables such as calculations, drawings, and technical reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in designing water and wastewater engineering deliverables, ideally including treatment schemes.
  • •BEng or MEng in a related engineering field with experience in water and wastewater treatment.
  • •Chartered (or near Chartered) Member of a relevant Professional Institution.
  • •Experience within the water sector working for a consultancy.
