Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble helicopter parts by joining composite components using resin bonding, riveting, and fasteners.
  • •Install fasteners to composites (e.g., nut plates and riv nuts) and pot inserts into core, including core removal, surface preparation, and insert bonding.
  • •Join metallic components to composites using resin bonding, riveting, and fasteners, properly locating components using cleco and back drilling.
  • •Perform bonding and assembly rework to remove minor imperfections, fitting components to drawings/MID/specifications, and grinding/sanding/trimming parts to fit.
  • •Ensure production orders are completed with full traceability and maintain clean, safe work areas (5S and FOD free) while troubleshooting process/tooling/ergonomic/safety improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •3 years of experience performing composite assembly operations and related processes.
  • •Knowledge of small hand tools (e.g., clamps, rivet guns, drills, grinders, taps, wrenches, knives, screwdrivers).
  • •Ability to use measuring instruments and read blueprints; understand quality requirements and meeting quality standards.
  • •Mechanical aptitude, teamwork focus, attention to detail, and ability to follow standardized work instructions.
