Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the subject matter expert on U.S. GAAP and lead research, interpretation, and application of complex accounting standards across business activities.
  • •Prepare technical accounting memos, accounting policies, and financial statement disclosures to ensure compliance and support the company’s evolving business model.
  • •Own technical accounting and financial reporting for audit, IPO readiness, and public-company preparation, including external audit support and disclosure processes.
  • •Provide practical accounting guidance to cross-functional teams on new products, customer arrangements, strategic partnerships, financing activities, and other significant transactions.
  • •Partner with external auditors and third-party specialists (valuation, tax, consulting) and support monthly/quarterly close and scalable processes, policies, and controls.

Key Requirements

  • •CPA designation required with current knowledge of U.S. GAAP and its practical application.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • •7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3–4 years in a Big 4 or national public accounting firm, at the Manager or Senior Manager level.
  • •Hands-on experience with revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, equity/financing transactions, and software capitalization.
  • •Proven ability to research and apply complex accounting guidance and draft technical accounting memos and financial statement disclosures.
