Job Summary

Lead and develop a PM-focused SME team responsible for the lifecycle, quality, and product integration of Vanta's GRC frameworks and content. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design to shape frameworks from SOC 2 to FedRAMP, manage framework releases, and drive AI-enabled compliance initiatives in a high-volume, security-focused SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Hire, mentor, and develop a team of SMEs spanning commercial and government frameworks, test authoring, and framework maintenance, planning capacity and ensuring high technical depth and content quality.
•Create a stable team environment with operating rhythms, delegating to grow ownership and coordinate with People Partner on team health.
•Align team roadmap and content priorities with product strategy, anticipating regulatory shifts and customer needs.
•Maintain open feedback loops and communicate priorities, decisions, and risks to engineers, GTM, customers, and executives.
•Own end-to-end framework release processes, defining playbooks for scoping, building, reviewing, and shipping frameworks and tests.

Pay and Benefits

Key Requirements

•7+ years of GRC and/or Information Security experience with hands-on implementation or assessment across multiple frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001/27701, HIPAA, PCI DSS, NIST CSF/800-53) and cloud/SaaS environments
•2+ years of experience managing technical or SME teams and developing people
•Experience owning or contributing to programs spanning Product, Engineering, and GTM—content lifecycle, framework release, or compliance product work
•Strong program management instincts: defining process, prioritization, and cross-functional accountability
•Analytical, detail-oriented with ability to translate customer/regulatory needs into productizable capabilities
