Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on ready mix trucks, end dump trucks, tractors, trailers, and heavy construction equipment.
  • •Diagnose complex mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
  • •Dismantle, rebuild, and maintain a wide range of equipment; replace and overhaul major components such as engines, transmissions, motors, and hydraulic systems.
  • •Conduct parts examinations for wear/damage using precision instruments and replace/reassemble components as needed.
  • •Document work with accurate time and parts records while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or technical certification in Heavy Equipment Maintenance is a plus.
  • •Minimum 3–6 months of hands-on heavy equipment maintenance experience (or equivalent education/experience).
  • •ASE certifications and a valid CDL (A or B) are preferred, with a clean driving record.
  • •Ability to use basic hand tools and sockets up to 1/2 inch.
  • •18 years or older with ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check; willingness to travel and work nights/weekends as needed.
