Key Responsibilities

  • •Use GD&T knowledge to interpret blueprints at all assembly levels.
  • •Collect geometric data with a laser tracker using model-based software such as Verisurf.
  • •Establish reference systems for tasks, install references on and off parts, and direct tooling operations based on analysis.
  • •Integrate process monitoring with fabrication processes to locate welding and machining details.
  • •Communicate effectively with fabricators, machinists, assemblers, engineers, and others while maintaining safe, quality operations and an orderly work environment.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certification.
  • •2+ years of millwright, machining, or industrial mechanic experience.
  • •2+ years of professional experience working with laser trackers or other 3D measurement equipment.
  • •2+ years of professional experience working with metrology software (Verisurf or equivalent).
