Key Responsibilities

  • •Directly manage and develop a team of hourly associates in the Inspection Center to regularly achieve production targets.
  • •Safely manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center while meeting or exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly production and quality goals.
  • •Oversee day-to-day team activities, identify strengths and weaknesses, and implement steps to improve performance.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory; repair or reject inventory in partnership with the Inspection Center General Manager based on estimated repair cost and vehicle quality.
  • •Train associates using Quality Control standards to complete repairs effectively and efficiently the first time, minimizing re-checks and delays.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •Experience using computers.
  • •Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process and a demonstrated understanding of current reconditioning processes and lean principles.
  • •Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years.
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work extended standing periods in a fast-paced, cold/hot/noisy/wet environment.
