Key Responsibilities

  • •Sell efficient commercial HVAC equipment and building management controls to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
  • •Engage in continuous technical and professional learning to support sales opportunities and analysis of market conditions.
  • •Build customer relationships by identifying and understanding needs throughout the full sales cycle.
  • •Coordinate technical sales activities with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners/developers during design, application, and sale of equipment, controls, parts, and services.
  • •Develop and execute a territory sales plan and growth strategy to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any emphasis), completed prior to the Graduate Training Program start date.
  • •Ability to complete the 14-week training program and temporarily relocate for training.
  • •Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Prior internship experience at Trane Technologies, or the capability to begin in-office work 3 months prior to the GTP start date.
  • •Hold a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and maintain proof of insurance, with no major/frequent traffic violations (including DUI) in the previous 3 years.
