Job Summary

Lead the global software engineering organization for Philips’ Sleep & Respiratory Care digital platforms and software capabilities. Define and execute the software engineering strategy, drive end-to-end development from architecture to lifecycle management, and raise engineering excellence through modern practices and Agile ways of working. Partner with Product, Systems, Clinical, Quality & Regulatory, IT, and Business leaders to deliver secure, scalable, high-quality digital health solutions in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and execute the global digital software engineering strategy for Sleep & Respiratory Care, aligned to Philips innovation and business objectives.
•Lead a global software engineering organization through senior leaders, building a high-performing culture focused on innovation, quality, and execution.
•Deliver end-to-end software development across the SRC portfolio, from architecture and development through release, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
•Drive engineering excellence using modern software development practices, Agile ways of working, and continuous improvement.
•Ensure software meets quality, cybersecurity, reliability, and regulatory compliance standards and manage priorities, budgets, resources, and engineering capabilities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
•15+ years of software engineering and technology leadership experience.
•8+ years in senior leadership roles within a global, matrixed MedTech or other regulated technology organization.
•Proven experience leading large global software engineering organizations (100+ FTE) through senior leaders.
•Experience delivering complex software platforms and connected digital products using modern software engineering practices and Agile methodologies.
