Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop new systems and enhancements by breaking down complex problems into essential components and efficient solutions.
  • •Own and evolve technical strategy and architectural direction across multiple teams, reviewing infrastructure and refactoring toward modern architectures.
  • •Establish shared engineering standards, patterns, and guardrails, and push best practices including test coverage, high availability, scalability, low latency, and fault tolerance.
  • •Design and build peripheral systems such as monitoring/alerting, automated build/deployment pipelines, and performance-metrics collection.
  • •Lead deliveries by participating in agile stand-ups, escalating blockers, guiding and mentoring team members, and acting as a principal technical advisor for long-term implications.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • •Proficiency in one or more of Java, TypeScript, and NodeJS (and willingness to learn the others).
  • •5+ years building high-traffic web applications and deploying to production with a focus on quality and long-term maintainability.
  • •Experience with cloud-based platforms (preferably AWS) and supporting live applications with debugging using logs and dashboards.
  • •Experience with SQL and databases (e.g., MySQL, DynamoDB) and infrastructure/code and build tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, GitLab, CI/CD, Jenkins, and Sonar.
