Job Summary

Advise and lead strategic procurement projects as a procurement subject matter expert within AECOM Advisory’s Strategic Procurement team. Support clients from drivers and project success factors through delivery model design, contract strategy, commercial model, and route to market. Manage end-to-end competitive procurement, including supplier engagement, tender documentation, evaluation, negotiation, and category and performance management, while contributing to proposal work winning and service development.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and support sector leading procurement projects and programmes as the strategic procurement subject matter expert.
•Provide procurement advice to shape delivery models, contract strategies, commercial models, and routes to market.
•Manage competitive procurement end-to-end, including market engagement, supplier shortlisting, tender development, evaluation, and negotiation.
•Advise on commercial aspects, category management, and performance management.
•Support work winning by contributing to proposal documentation and help develop AECOM’s strategic procurement service offering.

Key Requirements

•Five years post-qualification experience leading procurement for complex construction and infrastructure projects.
•Manage the procurement lifecycle from sourcing through to contract management.
•Proven project/programme management experience, including managing multiple projects concurrently.
•Strong people skills and the ability to influence, challenge, and establish yourself as a trusted advisor.
•Experience in strategic sourcing, category management, and contract management.
