Job Function: QA, Test & Release Engineering

Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and continually improve the quality of Avigilon’s software and hardware products through the ownership and maintenance of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test automation.
  • •Work with other teams to ensure that Avigilon produces the highest quality, easiest to use products in the surveillance industry.
  • •Design, measure, and report on the performance of various components of our system.
  • •Proactively identify and develop strategies to mitigate performance bottlenecks.
  • •Conduct exploratory testing on new features and platforms, specifically related to AI use cases.

Key Requirements

  • •Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, concise documentation.
  • •Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • •Proven ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
  • •Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team, often in a lead capacity.
  • •Strong proficiency in C#, Powershell, Python, Linux/Shell, and IP Networking.
