Key Responsibilities

•Provide full-time, on-site oversight of all construction activities, including deep excavation, rock support, structural concrete, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and site work
•Act as the client’s authorized on-site representative for administration of the construction contract
•Interpret and enforce contract plans, specifications, permits, and regulatory requirements
•Chair construction progress meetings with contractors and client staff; prepare and distribute meeting minutes
•Review and monitor the Contractor’s baseline schedule and periodic updates; identify risks and coordinate corrective actions with the client

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or relevant discipline OR equivalent experience
•Minimum 12 years of progressive construction inspection and/or construction management experience, including experience as a Resident Engineer or similar supervisory role
•Direct experience serving in a Resident Engineer, Construction Manager, or similar lead role on at least one constructed Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) storage tank or comparable large underground wastewater storage facility
•Strong understanding of construction sequencing and risk management specific to CSO and wastewater infrastructure
•Proven experience with construction contract administration, pay applications, RFIs, and change orders
