Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide full-time, on-site oversight of all construction activities, including deep excavation, rock support, structural concrete, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and site work
  • •Act as the client’s authorized on-site representative for administration of the construction contract
  • •Interpret and enforce contract plans, specifications, permits, and regulatory requirements
  • •Chair construction progress meetings with contractors and client staff; prepare and distribute meeting minutes
  • •Review and monitor the Contractor’s baseline schedule and periodic updates; identify risks and coordinate corrective actions with the client

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or relevant discipline OR equivalent experience
  • •Minimum 12 years of progressive construction inspection and/or construction management experience, including experience as a Resident Engineer or similar supervisory role
  • •Direct experience serving in a Resident Engineer, Construction Manager, or similar lead role on at least one constructed Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) storage tank or comparable large underground wastewater storage facility
  • •Strong understanding of construction sequencing and risk management specific to CSO and wastewater infrastructure
  • •Proven experience with construction contract administration, pay applications, RFIs, and change orders
