Key Responsibilities

  • •Line-manage approximately seven engineers across Commercial Tech & Integrations and Stability & Operations, focusing on growth plans, coaching, performance, and wellbeing.
  • •Own delivery and technical direction by partnering with tech leads on architecture and maintaining standards for design, review, and shipping across both technical domains.
  • •Hire and raise the bar using the company’s High-Agency & AI-Native hiring approach and build a strong team as it scales.
  • •Drive an AI-native operating rhythm, modeling tighter discovery-to-build-to-review loops for engineers using Claude Code and agentic tooling.
  • •Own the operational backbone including on-call health, incident practice, and proactive communication to ensure reliability as a habit.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering management experience with teams building and running production systems, including ownership of delivery and performance decisions.
  • •Technical range across both domains, including integration and API design plus identity/SSO and third-party systems, and reliability/observability/incident response with SLOs.
  • •Ability to steer design reviews, challenge estimates, and make build-versus-buy or sequencing decisions.
  • •Proven delivery through ambiguity while balancing pace, quality, and people.
